Formovanie kolektívnych identít na Slovensku po roku 1989 v stredoeurópskom a európskom kontexte / The Formation of Collective Identities in Slovakia after 1989 in the Central European and European Context

Cieľom je analýza procesu formovania kolektívnych identít v kontexte politických zmien po roku 1989, európskych integračných procesov a globalizácie. Zámerom je identifikovať, akým spôsobom sú tieto procesy ovplyvňované politickými aktérmi a ako títo aktéri reagujú na integračné a globalizačné, ale aj reverzné procesy s primárnym zameraním na podmienky Slovenska. Zároveň výskum sleduje stredoeurópsky a širší európsky kontext problematiky. Popri klasických kvalitatívnych interpretatívnych prístupoch je vítané aj používanie kvantitatívnych metód vo výskume, resp. využívanie už existujúcich „tvrdých dát“.

The aim is to analyse the process of formation of collective identities in the context of political changes after 1989, European integration processes and globalisation and to identify how these processes are influenced by political actors and how these actors react to integration and globalisation, as well as reverse processes, with a primary focus on the conditions of Slovakia. At the same time, the research follows the Central European and wider European context of the issue. In addition to classical qualitative interpretative approaches, the use of quantitative methods in research or the use of already existing “hard data” is also welcome.
